Blackbuck Hunting Case
Salman Khan was charged in 1998 with using outdated guns and poaching endangered antelopes. For hunting the endangered Chinkara, he received a one-year prison sentence. The Bishnoi Gang threatened Khan for the hunting incident and opened fire on his Mumbai apartment in 2024.
Hit and Run Case
Salman, convicted of reckless driving after a 2002 crash in Mumbai, was sentenced to five years in prison. Although Khan killed four homeless individuals, the court found him guilty of culpable homicide, not murder. His driver, Ashok Singh, was charged with perjury.
