Neil began his acting career on television back in 2008 with the lead role of Sony TV’s ‘Arsalan’. He gained recognition for his role, and the makers then cast him in 12/24 Karol Bagh, where audiences acclaimed his character, Abhinav Taneja. He earned praise for his role as Kesar in ‘Gulaal’. 

Later on, he went on to appear in Zee TV’s mythological series ‘Ramayan: Sabke Jeevan Ka Aadhar’ in 2012-2013, wherein he played the role of Lakshman. He then took on diverse roles such as the popular character ‘Zakir Siddiqui’ in ‘Diya aur Baati Hum’. He then appeared in ‘Tum Hi Ho Bandhu, Sakha Tumhi’ wherein he played the role of Bhushan Pathewala. 

Among his notably challenging roles, one could say that he found it difficult to play the role of Ranveer Singh Vaghela in ‘Roop: Mard ka Naya Swaroop’. The show played on Colors TV from 2018 to 2019, and he earned a nomination for ‘Best Actor in a Negative Role at the Gold Awards.
